CompTIA A+ consists of 2 training sections; you're considered competent at A+ when you've achieved certifications for both of them. A+ computer training courses teach diagnostic techniques and fault-finding - both remote access and hands-on, as well as building computers and repairing them and having knowledge of antistatic conditions. If you would like to be a man or woman who is a member of a large organisation - supporting, fixing and maintaining networks, build on A+ with Network+, or consider the Microsoft networking route (MCSA - MCSE) because it's necessary to have a deeper understanding of how networks work.
